Crispy Tuna and Tofu Brandade

Ingredients yields : 16 servings)
  • 1 onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp Herbes de Provence

  • 80 g canned tuna in brine

  • 160 g silken tofu

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs

  • 2 tbsp grated Gruyère cheese

Realisation
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C;

  2. Finely chop the onion and garlic;

  3. Heat olive oil and sauté the onion until translucent;

  4. Add garlic and Herbes de Provence, and cook until fragrant;

  5. Add the tuna and crush it roughly;

  6. Add the tofu and mix it with the tuna while crushing it;

  7. Add the oyster sauce and mix well;

  8. Transfer the brandade into a ramekin, cover with breadcrumbs and Gruyère cheese;

  9. Bake in the oven at 200°C for 7 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

  10. Serve with toasted bread, and enjoy!
