*Soybean sprouts come from soybeans and have a thicker texture. In contrast, mung bean sprouts come from mung beans, which are finer. Both are used in a similar way in cooking, that’s why in some cases, “mung bean sprouts” is mistakenly used to refer to soybean sprouts.
Description
Soybean sprouts are germinated soybeans. They belong to the vegetable category and can be consumed raw or used as an ingredient, suitable for cooking methods such as stir-frying, stewing, boiling, and blanching.
