Veggie Chicken Teriyaki
Ingredients (yields : 2 servings)
50 g dehydrated textured soy protein
500 ml hot water
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp white sugar
3 tbsp mirin
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Realisation
Soak the dehydrated textured soy protein in hot water for 15 minutes (or as suggested on the product package) to rehydrate the veggie chicken;
Drain the rehydrated veggie chicken and pat the surface dry;
Mix the soy sauce, white sugar, and mirin together well to make the teriyaki sauce;
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet, add the rehydrated veggie chicken, and stir-fry for 1 minute;
Add the teriyaki sauce and cook until the sauce reduces to the desired consistency;
Serve and enjoy!
