Tofuklöße mit Sauce

Ingredients (yields : 4 servings)
  • 200 g firm tofu

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 egg

  • 60 g all-purpose flour + more for shaping

  • A pinch of salt + more to season the hot water

  • A pot of water

  • Sauce of your choice

Realisation
  • Shred the tofu;

  • Add the soy sauce and mix until evenly distributed;

  • Add the egg and mix until combined;

  • In another bowl, combine the flour with a pinch of salt;

  • Add the flour mixture to the tofu-egg mixture and mix until a dough forms;

  • Divide the dough into four portions and shape each into a ball-shaped dumpling, dusting with more flour if needed;

  • Bring the water to a boil, seasoning with salt to taste;

  • Add the dumplings to the boiling water and cook until they rise to the surface, then continue to cook for 2 more minutes;

  • Drain the dumplings;

  • Serve with your desired sauce and enjoy!
