Tofu Bruschetta

Ingredients (yields : 30 pieces)
  • 200 g firm tofu

  • 1 cup olive oil

  • 1 bulb garlic

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves + more (for decoration)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 demi-baguette

  • 3 tomatoes

Realisation
  1. Dice the tofu;

  2. Place the olive oil, garlic, basil leaves, and salt in a mixer, then blend until well combined;

  3. Marinate the tofu with the oil-garlic mixture for 30 minutes;

  4. Cut the baguette into 1 cm slices;

  5. Dice the tomatoes;

  6. Remove the tofu from the oil-garlic mixture;

  7. Brush the oil-garlic mixture on each slice of the baguette;

  8. Spread the slices on the baking sheet in one layer;

  9. Bake in the over at 180ºC for 5 minutes or until crispy;

  10. Put 2 tsp diced tomatoes and 1 tsp diced tofu on top of each slice;

  11. Place one basil leave on top of each slice;

  12. Drizzle each slice with the oil-garlic mixture;

  13. Serve immediately and enjoy!
