Fermented soy sauce is manufactured using the traditional fermentation method, with soybeans and wheat being the main ingredients used in the fermentation process. Although time-consuming, soy sauce produced this way has a much more complex and rounded flavor, and it is considered the real soy sauce of superior quality compared to the non-fermented variety.
