Usage

as a beverage

Description

Artisanal soy milk production adheres to traditional techniques, with basic steps including sorting soybeans, soaking soybeans, grinding soybeans, filtration, and boiling—basically, all the steps before coagulation in the tofu-making process. Doujiang with youtiao (soy milk with Chinese cruller) is a classic Chinese-style breakfast.

*Please note that "jiang" in "dòujiāng" (soy milk) is pronounced with the first tone and written as “浆” in Chinese characters, which means thick liquid. It is different from "jiang" in "dòujiàng" (soybean paste), pronounced with the fourth tone and written as “酱”, which means thick sauce in paste form.
